Raid Web Console 2 no servers and memory leak

$

I have been using Intel Raid Web Console 2 since having an Intel Raid controller.  Still using it and have also tried the Avago version.  Used to run.  now no matter how many times I reinstall it, I can pull up the host and all it's info the first time I launch it.  After that keeps saying "Server could not be found because server may be down or server not installed in the host system".  I now have LSI based controllers from Dell, a Perc H800 and Perc 6/i.  Those used to show to but no longer other than that first install.  Devices show ok in Device Manager.  The RWCFramework service is running so confused what's happening.  Any thoughts?

Also I am having a memory leak with storelib.dll.  Using it with SNMP and the SNMP Service (32-bit) in Windows 2012 R2 keeps increasing.  Have to restart it after a few days when it's reached over 2GB of memory usage.  Anyone have any thoughts or hear anything about this?

Thanks.

JBOD2312S2SP Power Supply Issue?

I have a JBOD2312S2SP Intel Raid Enclosure (Intel® Storage Systems JBOD Family) at my house and woke up to screaming fan noises.  Warning light was blinking and the console showed this:

Note I only have one power supply so if the cable was removed not sure how it was still running.  Right after that warning received the below messages copied from the logs so the top one is the latest:

Last message until 6 minutes later I powered up a computer to remove in and shutdown the system.  Pulled the power plug, put it back in, powered everything up, and it's running right now without issue.  Thoughts?

Edit:  As a side note, the Intel Raid Web Console shows this drive cage with 2 power supplies.  Always did.  I only have one.  So not sure if that's just how many it can hold or if it's just not intelligent enough to detect the number of drives.

Thanks.

We have purchased a full populated MFSYS25V2 last week to have spare parts if something breaks on our MFSYS25 (V1).

Now I would like to activate SharedLUN feature, but our reseller doesn't provide the keys anymore and adviced me to contact Intel.
How can I get one? Please help.

Boot order changes back to EFI Shell

Hi,

I've installed a new Intel Server System with Server Board S2600WT2R.

I have two boot options:

- Launch EFI Shell and

- UEFI PCIE SATA: 8000000 (Integrated RAID controller)

When I select UEFI PCIE SATA has first boot option, the server will boot in Windows.

After rebooting the server autoboot in Launch EFI Shell, and also Launch EFI Shell is listed fist in the boot order. All other configuration in the BIOS is OK and not changed.

Luckely I can change the boot through the Remote Management Port, so it boots from the RAID controller.

What can be the problem?

Best regards,

Joost Lauwen

Intel S1200SPS sometimes hanging on restart with POST code 96h

Build:

Intel S1200SPS Server Motherboard

Xeon E3-1245v5

Kingston ValueRAM 2x8GB DDR4 2133MHz ECC

Samsung 850 Pro

2x WD SE 1TB HDD in RAID 1

Windows 10 Professional

The problem happens when selecting restart from Windows. Sometimes, but not always, the computer will hang on the Intel splash screen with Post error 96h. Pulling the power completely fixes the issue. We have swapped out the board as recommended by the troubleshooting guide for that error code as well as removing and swapping drives. We have also tried using a different power supply. Board is on the latest firmware. Any idea what may be causing this?

Also as a possibly unrelated issue; Serial IO I2C Host Controller -A160, Serial IO I2C Host Controller -A161, Serial IO UART Host Controller - A127 all show in Device Manager as Code 12: This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. This happened with both boards. Not a huge issue as serial will not be needed, but I though it worth mentioning.

Two amber light on and another blinking

Hello!
I got an S2600CP2J motherboad, but I have a lot of problems with it
Firstly, the first runs I have problem accessing to bios setting (when I tap F2 the screen go black) and other problems are two amber light and another amber light blinking and heatsink fans run at full speed, I do a Cmos reset then I have access to bios but the two amber light and another amber light blinking and heatsink fans speed problem not resolved, I ask a friend he told me to do a bios update to latest ones, I do it but in the fans setting I forgot and I tap "Yes" to chassis fans 1 and 2 (during bios update)
After bios update is completed I restarted the motherboard and the problem with amber light and heatsink fans problems still not resolved yet; I installed Windows 10, and he installed without problems.

I turned off the motherboard, and I tried after to turned it on from the PSU switch, but the motherboard not running, I see just two green lights and no fans or screen turned on, I do a bios reset and the motherboard running, I tried another time to turn off/on the motherboard, and the problem still no resolved.

problems that I have now are: two amber lights on and another blinking but the system running, heatsink fans run at the max speed even after changed speed from bios,
- Two amber lights on and another blinking but the system running.

- Heatsink fans run at the max speed even after changed speed from bios

- The motherboard not running after turned on (no POST just two green light on). so every time needs to turn it on I reset the bios and the motherboard work again.

Hope to help me please

Problem with Intel s5500hcv, Intel S2600cp and Samsung V-NAND ssd 950 PRO M.2

Hello,

I have a problem with Samsung V-NAND 950 PRO M.2.

Recently i've purchased two Samsung V-NAND 950 PRO M.2 with PCIe Card > 1x internal NVMe M.2 NGFF Key M 110mm (by delock) adapter.

I've tried to install this ssd on two servers and one pc.

Server 1:

OS: Windows Server 2008

Motherboard: intel server board s5500hcv

Processor: Intel Quad-Core Xeon E5530

On this server, I've seen in "Device Manager" the "unknown drive" with the yellow exclamation mark.

I've tried to find the driver for Windows 2008 server but with no success.

Also, I could not seen the Samsung V-NAND 950 PRO ssd in BIOS.

I just wanted to migrate the OS and drive 5 to SSD or create a partition with that ssd.

------------

Server 2:

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2

Motherboard: Intel S2600CP

Processor: Intel Xeon E5 2679

I've tried to find the driver for Windows 2008 R2 server but with no success.

On this server, when I inserted the Card into motherboard, the server start normally, but I can't even seen the card there..

I could not detect Samsung V-NAND 950 PRO, does not appear in bios or in device manager or somewhere else.

--------

Pc :

Os: Windows 10

Motherboard: Dell Inc. 084J0R-A00

Processor: Intel Core i3 3220

When I inserted the card, I saw it in Device manager, disk management, but not bios.

After that I installed samsung v-nand driver, saw the disk in BIOS too.. Tried to migrate the os on the disk, no success this time.

What happened, if I've started the pc, the disk was there, I could do everything with it.. but after restart, the disk just disappeared, couldn't find it anywhere.. but if I shut down the PC, and start again, the disk appeared.. if I restart, disappeared, so strange!

I literally don't know what to do, just hope to get some help from here.

I think I'm missing something and don't know what!

Hi all,

I am working on Solaris 11.3 HBA driver development. We have configured and enabled MSI-x interrupts for PCI device.

At times, while loading our driver we are seeing the OS crash. Looks like this issue is occurring when *intel iommu* is ON.

What does the following error message mean ? Is this fault generated by the interrupt remapping hardware ? How to get rid of this issue ?

Serial port is enabled in BIOS.

The same device with the same cable successfully connected to another motherboad (asus z97-a), so device problem is excluded. Tried Win2012,Win2008R2,Win8.1

Should I change something else on this motherboard to make it work with UPS by serial port?

Intel SS4200-E won't boot

$

Hi there,

I have an intel SS4200-E which has been working smoothly for the past 6 months, 24x7. Is has two SAMSUNG 1,5 TB Ecogreen drives installed and it's my home server for backups and media.

Today I come home and noticed all the leds were lit and the server unavailable. I restarted it, it seems to power cycle, but then the power led / button keeps flashing blue forever. The two harddrive leds remain solid blue. I can't acess the web interface to see any logs, and the system doesn't answer to pings for it's ip address.

Should I reset the system ? If so, will I loose any of the information on the hardrives?

Or should I try to mount one of the disks in a Linux system to try and recover the information on it ?

Thanks in advance,

Pedro

Xeon E3 1265LV3 vs E3 1276V3 same graphics?

$

Hi all

I have a HTPC based on an Intel S1200V3RPM server board with a XEON E3 1265L V3 processor. Some time ago, I wrote here https://communities.intel.com/thread/48407 in some detail about my problems getting the displayport of the board to output audio.

I had always assumed that the XEON E3 1265L V3 contains a P4600 graphics engine. Today by chance I noticed that on the datasheet of the processor, only Intel HD graphics is listed.

Having seen this, I am asking myself the question whether the display port would output audio, if I changed the processor to a XEON E3 1276V3, which in the datasheet is listed to contain a P4600 graphics engine.

Anyone have an idea, whether this upgrade might solve the problem?

Hi,

I’m still having an Issue with my workstation. A while ago i replaced the PSU where the connecter between the power supply and the 8 / 4-pin eps / atx 12v connector melted. This now happened again with this new PSU and I wonder if the CPU or Mainboard are defective. What could be the reason and how to solve it.

Sytem Specs:

- Intel  Server Board S2600CP4

- 2 X Intel Xeon E5-2670 8 Core @ 2,6GHz /Turbo 3,00GHz

- 32 GB DDR3 Ram (8 x 4GB Dimms)

- Adaptec 6805 Raid Controller 8Port SAS/Sata 6GBs

- 4 X Seagate 2TB SAS HDDs Raid 5

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

S1200V3RPM / XEON E3 1265L V3 audio over displayport problem

$

Hi all,

I have an Intel S1200V3RPM server board, XEON E3 1275V3 processor (P4600 graphics), which I use as an audio and video streamer.

The only drivers I have been able to install are the 10.18.10.3316 from windows update. All other drivers from the Intel download center (.3316 and .3345) fail to install.

The problem I experience is that I do not have any audio on the HDMI input of my AV receiver. I connect my board via DisplayPort cable -> HP BB937AA adapter -> HDMI cable-> Onkyo PR-SC5507 AV receiver. My PC cannot see the Onkyo as an audio device. Video gets transferred fine.

The HP Displayport - HDMI adapter works fine connecting an HP Elitebook 8570w to the Onkyo, miltichannel HD sound and all.

Thanks for any help, as the video part of my streamer is unusable like this.

Server S1200v3RP no keyboard after coin battery replaced, RTC error displayed

$

In trying to diagnose what I thought was a keyboard problem,

(I was unable to interrupt the boot sequence to change the

boot device) I replaced the coin battery; now it continuously reboots, with a

one-minute cycle, and gives a "five low, one+one high" beep

sequence, then a steady-amber, 0x0C LED code

when it pauses.  That is listed as "System RTC date/time not set"

There is no video while it is running through the POST; it displays

the "Server Board" splash screen when it pauses.  There is no

keyboard response whatsover: no F2 hotkey, not even Caps Lock.

For want of anything else to try, I've tried each USB slot, all the same.

The keyboard worked before, and still works on other machines.
