Hi, I have a xeon server board with 32GB ECC memory as workstation… and I'm annoyed about the loud fan…

# ipmitool sensor | grep -I Fan
Sys Fan 2        | 686.000    | RPM        | ok    | na        | 294.000   | 392.000   | na        | na        | na
Processor Fan    | 0.000      | RPM        | cr    | na        | 0.000     | 0.000     | na        | na        | na
System Fan 4     | 1078.000   | RPM        | ok    | na        | 294.000   | 392.000   | na        | na        | na
Sys Fan 1        | 0.000      | RPM        | cr    | na        | 0.000     | 0.000     | na        | na        | na
Sys Fan 3        | 588.000    | RPM        | ok    | na        | 294.000   | 392.000   | na        | na        | na

I already disconnect "Processor Fan" but I don't want to disable "System Fan 4"

I have done some study and I think I can control Fan speed with the "ipmitool raw…" command… like I read

FAQ Entry | Online Support | Support - Super Micro Computer, Inc.

Question can you give me the IPMI raw commands to control all the fan's on S1200BTL

thank you :-)
