S5520HC BIOS overrides OLTT selection

Hello,

if I select Open Loop Thermal Throttling in the BIOS and save and reset the computer the BIOS overrides my selection win CLTT (Closed Loop Thermal Throttling).

I have an issue with the fan control (fans spinning always at 100%) and i found that the problems are the DIMMs wich do not have thermal sensors. If that is the case  the BIOS should not choose CLTT because then the fans are controlled with the RAM temperature as major factor.

Now i tried to select OLTT manually wich didnt work.

My system is this:

  1. Machine:   System: Intel product: TERRA Server v: ....................

  2.            Mobo: Intel model: S5520HC v: E26045-454

  3.            Bios: Intel v: S5500.86B.01.00.0064.050520141428 date: 05/05/2014

  4. CPU(s):    2 Hexa core Intel Xeon X5650s (-HT-MCP-SMP-) cache: 24576 KB

  5.            clock speeds: max: 2661 MHz 1: 1596 MHz 2: 1729 MHz 3: 1596 MHz

  6.            4: 1729 MHz 5: 1596 MHz 6: 1729 MHz 7: 1862 MHz 8: 1596 MHz

  7.            9: 1596 MHz 10: 1596 MHz 11: 1596 MHz 12: 1596 MHz 13: 1596 MHz

  8.            14: 1596 MHz 15: 1596 MHz 16: 1596 MHz 17: 1596 MHz 18: 1596 MHz

  9.            19: 1596 MHz 20: 1596 MHz 21: 1596 MHz 22: 1596 MHz 23: 1596 MHz

  10.            24: 1596 MHz

  11. Sensors:   System Temperatures: cpu: 45.5C mobo: N/A gpu: 28C

  12.            Fan Speeds (in rpm): cpu: N/A

  13. //edit: Fan1: 4500rmp, Fan2: 3100rmp, Fan3: 4000rmp

Help would be nice; that noise my machines makes isnt wholesome.
