Hi folks, finally made the jump to LGA2011 (from LGA771!) and have an issue.
My board is an S2600CO, with two matched E5-2643 CPUs. I have 16gb Crucial (Micron) 4GB DDR3-1600 CT4G3ERSLS4160B.18FKD, 4 DIMMS, correctly populated. ECC and all 4 match
There are no drives or anything else hooked up. All power connectors are in and this whole thing has me scratching my head.
Onboard diagnostic LEDs say that I'm hanging at 9ah, USB_START, and all I have installed are a usb keyboard and mouse. I've tried without the K/M and nothing changes.
I've reset the CMOS per the procedure listed in the manual and nothing. It makes a lot of noise and looks pretty.
Where did I dun goof?
